Southern Employment Terms:

The contractor shall perform various industrial services work as directed by Southern Welding. This may include, but is not limited to, the installation, repair, maintenance, and fabrication of parts, components and equipment. Compensation will be made subject to satisfactory completion of work as determined by Southern Welding. Southern Welding will provide specific safety equipment and materials as required by law and company policy.

Safety: The employee agrees to adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations established by Southern Welding, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safe work practices.

Confidentiality: The employee agrees to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary information, trade secrets, or sensitive data belonging to Southern Welding, both during and after the term of employment.

Compliance with Laws: The employee agrees to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and safety standards while performing duties for Southern Welding.

Termination: Either party may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. Upon termination, the employee agrees to return any company property in their possession.

At Southern, we’ve been in the mechanical welding, industrial maintenance and fabrication business for over 15 years — Solving problems at every kind of manufacturing plant. However, our team started in the business long-before that.

From 1996 to 2007, Southern Welding founder Shane Boston learned every part of running, managing and maintaining industrial plants, as did much of the Southern team over the last several decades. They built the industrial services company they wanted as plant and product managers. Today, we’re an integral company in the American Industrial Service family of companies (AIS) and known across the country as Southern Welding.
