We construct plate and sheet metal parts as well as custom fabricated metal parts to ensure plants get the quality metal parts needed to generate power. Metal parts include: steel, stainless, copper and aluminum.

At Southern, we’ve been in the mechanical welding, industrial maintenance and fabrication business for over 15 years — Solving problems at every kind of manufacturing plant. However, our team started in the business long-before that.

From 1996 to 2007, Southern Welding founder Shane Boston learned every part of running, managing and maintaining industrial plants, as did much of the Southern team over the last several decades. They built the industrial services company they wanted as plant and product managers. Today, we’re an integral company in the American Industrial Service family of companies (AIS) and known across the country as Southern Welding.
