Process Piping
In-plant process piping welding — routine runs, repairs, and modifications performed without disrupting the rest of your operation.

Certified pipe welders for process piping, pipelines, and plant systems — built to code, tested, and backed by a crew that’s worked the plant side of the job.
Pipe welding is unforgiving — a weak joint doesn’t fail on the bench, it fails under pressure, on a system your plant depends on every day. Southern Welding’s certified welders handle process piping and pipeline welding across carbon, stainless, and specialty alloys, using TIG, orbital, and manual processes matched to the application, not just whatever’s fastest.
Every weld is performed to the applicable code and documented — because in cement, mining, power, and pulp & paper plants, “probably fine” isn’t a standard we work to.

01
We review drawings, specs, and the piping material before crews mobilize — so the right process and filler metal are confirmed before any arc strikes.
02
Joints are prepped, fit, and inspected to spec. On pressure systems, this step is where most future failures get caught before they happen.
03
Certified welders execute to the specified procedure. In-process and post-weld inspection — including NDT where required — verifies the joint before the system goes back into service.
04
Weld logs, material certs, and inspection records are handed over complete — so your team has the paper trail when the auditor or the next outage comes around.
